What to Expect – Part Two – The First Meeting

The next step in our process is to have an initial meeting. What we’ll do is coordinate a time that work for your schedule. Once that’s done we’ll send you a confirmation email outlining what’s going to happen in that first meeting. This will allow you to get an idea of how our time will be spent and so you can plan and bring any and all thoughts and ideas you have.

Once we arrive at your home, we’ll introduce ourselves. The first thing that we like to do is outline what we’ll be doing during the meeting. When that’s done, we’ll want to talk to you and talk about what you’re planning for your home.

That conversation involves walking around your house and talking to you about your ideas. At this point, we want to hear everything that you’re thinking. We’re gathering your ideas and at this point everything is a possibility. No matter how crazy or out there, we want to hear that idea. It may be the beginning of a great addition to our project.

After we’ve talked about your project, we’ll sit down and tell you more about Red Apple Renovations. We’ll tell you about who we are, how we work, how we approach our work and generally let you know who we are. We’ll also want to learn more about things like how long you’ve been in the house, how long you plan to stay; so we can understand how you’re approaching the project. We’ll also talk about our proposal process and how our design process works.

When we’re done talking, your Red Apple representative will take measurements and photographs of the area in and around the project. Don’t be surprised if this doesn’t take very long. At this point, we’re just getting preliminary measurements, not final dimensions. When all is said and done, the first meeting takes between 60 – 90 minutes.
